Enabling assertions disabled for bug #1074901 Bug #1074901 was fixed allowing us to enable some assertions in test_integration_1. Also removes some comments that are no longer relevant. Change-Id: I8db300d5d8f656cee2b1ea747d97cb5072bae72a
